Event motion and print design

Australian Gymnastics Competitions (AGC) is company that aims to enhance the positive experience of gymnastics in the community. For their 2024 national championships, we put together a package of of 90 animated assets revealing their pro level gymnasts, and over 120 static designs for print and digital to generate hype and elevate comp day experience.

AGC use a 4.5m x 2.5m screen to display event information and athlete scores. this screen would also be used for an opening ceremony that introduced each athlete to attendees. With this in mind, the goal was to create a short motion piece for each athelete that played as they were introduced to the stage.

Print assets :

In addition to motion deliverables, a set of print assets were also designed. These consisted of posters of each gymnast that would be hung on the outer walls of the venue as well as 'gymnast cards' that attendees could collect upon entry to the venue and then have signed by their favourite athletes at the end of the session.

Process :

Gymnasts were shot by Shotpro_au on a greensreen backdrop. From there, files were delivered to us to be keyed and edited before takign the assets into after effects where rought timing and design drafts were discussed with client to find the best approach.
