Gameday Experience
Working with KOJO I had the opportunity to take ownership of Melbourne City FC's gameday content in 2024. KOJO secured a three-year partnership with Melbourne City FC, undertaking a mission to redefine and elevate their sports presentation and gameday experience. The expertise of KOJO's content and motion design team was instrumental in crafting a dynamic gameday atmosphere, employing cutting-edge 2D + 3D motion design that seamlessly integrates the essence of Melbourne into the stadium. The content spans from captivating pre-game light shows, countdowns, and team entries to immersive in-game goal stings, offering a comprehensive broadcast package that breathes life into the stadium.

Melbourne City Football Club's branding exudes excitement, with a dynamic blend of vivid colors, energetic patterns, and bold photography. Capturing this energy in our work was essential for the team, and it was an incredible experience to bring the brand to life through motion.
For City's goal asset, shown above, It was important for the motion to stand out from the rest of the package and light up the stadium. By combining 2D and 3D elements, we created an electrifying goal sting designed to ignite the crowd's enthusiasm.
In our pre-game hype piece, edits were ehanced with motion effects using various rotoscoping techniques. This approach integrated the motion directly into the footage, amplifying the highlights and embedding the brand into the world itself with an added spark.
